Armada Retail Concept is urgently hiring an in-house Fashion Buyer and Merchandiser in Kuwait.
The selected candidate will initially manage kids’ apparel buying and merchandising before transitioning to cosmetics buying and merchandising.
Initial Responsibilities – Kids’ Apparel:
• Manage buying and merchandising activities
• Research fashion trends and consumer preferences in Korea and China
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding product development and production
• Support the Design team with market and trend insights
• Follow up on orders, product development and deliveries
• Coordinate with the Design, Logistics and Retail teams
• Communicate with Korean suppliers and business partners
Future Responsibilities – Cosmetics:
• Research Korean cosmetics and beauty trends
• Identify Korean beauty brands, products and suppliers
• Support cosmetics sourcing, buying and merchandising
• Coordinate with Korean suppliers and brand partners
• Monitor product launches, market trends and product development
• Support assortment planning and category development
• Provide insights into Korean consumer preferences and K-Beauty trends
Requirements:
• Filipino nationality is required
• Fluency in spoken and written Korean is mandatory
• Good command of English
• Strong interest in fashion, beauty, cosmetics and K-Beauty
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Willingness to learn and grow
• Experience in fashion, retail, merchandising, cosmetics, beauty or textiles is an advantage but not mandatory
