Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PHP Developer to join our development team. You will be responsible for writing clean, secure, and efficient PHP code to develop and maintain dynamic web applications, back-end services, and APIs. You’ll collaborate with designers, front-end developers, and other team members to bring projects to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and related technologies.
- Work with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Design and build efficient, reusable, and reliable PHP code.
- Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
- Participate in code reviews and team meetings, and contribute to development best practices.
- Create and consume RESTful APIs and web services.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Maintain documentation and follow company coding standards and practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a PHP Developer (minimum [X] years).
- Proficiency in PHP and understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP).
- Strong knowledge of Laravel, CodeIgniter, or another PHP framework.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
- Understanding of MVC design patterns.
- Knowledge of version control tools like Git.
- Ability to write clean, well-documented, and reusable code.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with APIs (REST, SOAP) and third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
